attorney-at-law | partner
Astrid is interested in every case. She is deeply committed and always aims for the best result. In an approachable and cheerful manner, she is always there for her clients. She is very pragmatic, but knows what’s required of her as a lawyer: she argues every case convincingly.
That’s why she attracts many large and smaller clients in various sectors, mostly on the employer/HR side (including automotive, agriculture, food, construction, financial services, ICT, production, retail, sheltered employment and healthcare), but she also keenly represents employees and directors.
She joined Banning on 1 September 1997, where she works in the employment law practice. She is at home in all facets and contributes ideas on a wide range of subjects, including major reorganisations and negotiations with trade unions and work councils, individual dismissals due to poor performance, disputes about non-compete clauses, the approach to incapacity issues, sound contracts and the harmonisation of employment conditions: Astrid’s knowledge, experience, fingerspitzengefühl and strategy guarantee that her clients receive the legal assistance they require and that Banning stands for.
