During her study, Romy got in touch with Banning and joined the Family & Inheritance Law section as (at the time) legal secretary on 1 September 2008. She has since been heading the PR, marketing & communications department for many years.
With an eye for detail and knowledge of both the legal profession and PR, marketing & communications, she is able to strengthen and grow the brand awareness of Banning. Together with her team, she takes care of brand management, (graphic) design, PR communications, internal and external communications, the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, visibility and brand awareness, online media, sponsorship and partnerships and relationship management. She works closely with the various sections and the board of Banning to create and implement effective communication and marketing initiatives. Romy is also part of the management team and application committee within Banning. In addition, she is the point of contact for student interns and universities.
Her mission is to ensure that the brand awareness of Banning continues to stand out within the yet competitive legal market. She believes in the power of good communication to strengthen trust and relationships with and from clients.
